Technical SEO Audit

Includes
Google Search Console

Full review covering technical health, content performance, backlinks, and keyword strategy. Delivered as a prioritized report split by who fixes what, with effort and impact scored on every item so nothing sits in a backlog for six months.

What's included

Technical health

  • Crawlability review covering robots.txt, sitemaps, crawl budget, and AI crawler access
  • Log file analysis showing what Googlebot actually fetches versus what you assume it does
  • Indexation analysis with coverage report, canonical tags, and noindex audits
  • Site architecture review for URL structure, crawl depth, and hub-and-spoke organization
  • Faceted navigation, pagination, and parameter URL handling
  • JavaScript rendering review for sites that rely on client-side rendering
  • HTTPS, status codes, redirect chains, and soft 404s
  • Core Web Vitals across key templates, plus TTFB, server response, and CDN configuration
  • Image formats, compression, alt text, and lazy loading behavior
  • Schema and structured data audit with validation errors flagged
  • Mobile usability and responsive behavior
  • Hreflang and international setup where it applies
  • Bing and secondary engine indexation
  • Migration history review if the site has changed platform or domain recently

Content and keywords

  • Keyword targeting map showing which page ranks for what, and where two pages compete for the same query
  • Keyword difficulty reality check against your actual domain authority, because a site with forty referring domains going after DR 70 terms has a strategy problem rather than a technical one
  • Search intent alignment, meaning whether your page format matches what currently ranks
  • Search Console analysis covering impressions without clicks, positions eight to twenty, and CTR gaps against title quality
  • Content decay analysis for pages that used to rank and are sliding
  • Refresh priorities on stale ranking pages
  • Pruning candidates with no traffic, no links, and no job to do
  • Duplicate, thin, and cannibalized content at the intent level rather than just matching title tags
  • Competitor content gap analysis by topic
  • On-page review of titles, meta descriptions, headings, and depth

Off-site

  • Backlink profile covering referring domains, authority distribution, anchor text, and growth rate against competitors
  • Link gap analysis showing who links to competitors and not to you
  • Lost and broken backlinks worth reclaiming
  • Unlinked brand mentions
  • Toxic link review, manual action check, and disavow file audit

SERP context

  • SERP feature analysis covering AI Overviews, featured snippets, and how much organic space is actually left on your target queries
  • Traffic and conversion data tied to rankings, so recommendations connect to revenue rather than position tracking

Deliverable

  • Prioritized fix list scored by effort and impact
  • Split between what marketing can ship and what needs an engineer
  • Opportunity sizing on the top recommendations

Why it matters

Technical issues are the invisible ceiling on some SEO programs. Google can't crawl the site properly, architecture buries the pages that matter, or a client-rendered app returns an empty shell to the crawler. When that's the problem, fixing it changes everything downstream.

But it isn't always the problem. Plenty of sites are technically fine and still lose, because they have no links, or they're targeting keywords their domain has no chance at, or their pages answer a different question than the one people typed. A crawl report won't tell you that. This audit covers the technical layer properly and then keeps going into the content and off-site work, because the honest answer to why you aren't ranking is usually one of those three, and you should know which one before you spend a quarter on the wrong fix.
