Lead Quality & Funnel Optimization
Analysis of what happens to leads after the form submit, from qualification through to closed revenue, and the changes that push campaigns toward the leads that actually buy.
What's included
Where leads come from and what they become
- Lead volume traced through to qualified, opportunity, and closed won by source, campaign, and keyword
- Close rate and average deal value by acquisition channel
- Time to close by source, since some channels produce slower revenue rather than less
- Spam, bot, and unqualified volume measured properly instead of estimated
- The gap between reported conversions and leads your sales team would call real
Why the quality varies
- Form and offer review, covering how much friction is doing useful filtering
- Message and audience match between the ad, the page, and who actually buys
- Keyword and query analysis at the lead quality level rather than the conversion level
- Landing page and follow-up experience for the segments that convert worst
- Routing and response time, because slow follow-up looks identical to bad lead quality in the data
Feeding it back
- Offline conversion import so platforms optimize toward qualified leads and revenue
- Conversion action strategy covering which stage to import and what value to send
- Lead scoring reviewed against what actually closes
- Negative keyword and audience exclusion recommendations from the low-quality segments
- Bidding recommendations once the new conversion signals have volume
Deliverable
- Written analysis with quality broken down by source
- Fix list split between campaign changes, page changes, and process changes
- Tracking implementation for the closed loop
Why it matters
Cost per lead falls, sales complains, and both sides think the other is wrong. Usually both are right. The algorithm was told to find form fills, so it found people who fill in forms, and that's a different group from people who buy.
Once revenue flows back into the platform, the conversation changes shape. Campaigns that looked expensive on cost per lead sometimes turn out to be the only ones producing deals. The awkward finding, which comes up often, is that lead quality was never the problem and nobody was calling the leads back for two days.
