Landing Page Build for Paid Traffic
Landing pages built for a specific campaign and audience, with tracking, form handling, and CRM routing wired in before launch rather than bolted on after.
What's included
Before the build
- Campaign and audience defined, since a page for cold Meta traffic and a page for high-intent search are different pages
- Message match mapped from ad to headline to offer
- Competitor pages reviewed on the same queries
- Existing page data used where you have it, including replay and drop-off analysis
Build
- Page built in Webflow, Framer, your CMS, or as a standalone template, depending on who maintains it afterwards
- Copy written for the audience and the traffic temperature
- Mobile-first layout, since most paid traffic arrives on a phone and most pages are designed on a desktop
- Core Web Vitals treated as a requirement rather than something to fix later
- Accessible markup covering labels, contrast, focus states, and keyboard flow
Forms and conversion path
- Form design with field count justified rather than inherited
- Validation and error states that explain what went wrong
- Multi-step where the length justifies it
- Calendar booking integration if that's your conversion
- Thank you page and confirmation sequence
- Phone path with call tracking if calls matter to you
Tracking and routing
- Full event tracking through GTM into GA4 and your ad platforms
- gclid, msclkid, fbclid, and UTM capture persisted through to the CRM record
- CRM routing with owner assignment and notification
- Server-side conversion events where reliability matters
- Deduplication and consent handling
After launch
- QA across browsers and devices
- Conversion path tested end to end from ad click to CRM record
- Variant ready for testing if you're running a program
Why it matters
Paid campaigns get blamed for problems that live on the page. The traffic is fine, the page loads in four seconds on mobile, asks for nine fields, and answers a different question than the ad implied.
The unglamorous half is the plumbing. A page that converts but doesn't persist the click ID hands you leads with no source, which means your bidding never learns and your reporting never reconciles. Wiring that up during the build costs nothing extra and is genuinely painful to retrofit.
What clients say
“Thomas from SmartMetrics is not only easy to work with but is a wealth of knowledge. Thank you, Thomas!”
SmartWatt Marketing
“Nice to work with an Adwords expert like Thomas. He helped us not only set up campaigns that convert, but also tag manager to help us track all of the conversion metrics.”
Rebecca Ruck
“Tomas is an exceptional analytics expert. He helped us migrate a client from Universal Analytics to GA4, including creating GTM tags/triggers/variables, ecommerce tracking setup, other event tracking setup, and even built out funnels. This client had a unique shopping/enrollment checkout process, but the migration and configuration was launched without any issues. Highly recommended for any analytics work.”
