This year, the biggest change of my career arrived, and I'm all in. SmartMetrics is moving fully to agentic development and agentic workflows. That means how I build and run my own operation, and it means how I build for my clients. Over the coming months, every client system I touch will move in this direction.
Why agentic, and why now
Most businesses have tried AI the same way: open a chat, write a prompt, get something half right, try again. That's useful for a quick answer. It breaks down the moment the work gets real: a multi-step workflow, a CRM integration, a product build. One AI doing everything loses the thread, runs out of room, and can't check its own work.
Agentic work fixes that by changing the structure, not the prompt. Instead of one AI doing everything, a lead agent plans the work and breaks it into small, clear tasks. Separate agents each take one task with a clean start. Another agent checks the result. A human, me, approves what goes live.
It's the difference between one overworked employee and a well-run team. The models, Claude in particular, are now good enough that this team actually works, day in and day out.
What it changes
- Speed. Independent pieces of work run in parallel instead of one after another. Builds and integrations that took weeks now take days, and a change request that used to wait in a queue gets picked up the same day.
- Scalability. A solo consultancy used to mean a ceiling on how much I could take on. With an agentic team, my capacity grows with the work, without adding account managers or handoffs. You still deal with one person: me.
- Quality. Nothing counts as done because an agent says so. Every task has a test it must pass, and a separate agent reviews the work before I approve it. More checks, not fewer.
- Cost. Agents cost a fraction of the hours they replace, and they run on your own API keys or Claude subscription. No markup on usage, no hidden fees.
- Focus. The repetitive work goes to agents. My time goes where it matters most: strategy, your data, and making sure the system actually moves your numbers.
What this means if you're a SmartMetrics client
The services stay the same: Google Ads, SEO, CRO, analytics and tracking, CRM integrations. What changes is how they're delivered. Reporting pipelines, lead routing, tracking audits, and site builds will increasingly run as agentic workflows that I design, monitor, and approve.
You keep the same point of contact and the same standards. You get faster turnaround, more consistent checks, and systems that keep working between our calls. I'll walk each client through the move personally, one system at a time, so nothing breaks along the way.
Introducing SimpleAgentic.ai
This shift is big enough that it deserves its own home. I'm launching SimpleAgentic.ai, a new service dedicated to done-for-you AI agents: agentic teams for lead generation, ecommerce, CRM workflows and product development, built and managed by me.
Alongside it, I've published The SimpleAgentic Playbook: the rules every system I build follows. A few of them:
- One agent plans, others do the work, and workers never spawn more workers.
- Every task is small, owns its own files, and has a check that proves it's done.
- The agent that builds is never the agent that reviews.
- Rules that must hold are enforced automatically, not just requested.
- A human approves every change that goes live.
If you want to understand how agentic systems should be built, whether or not you ever work with me, read the full playbook.
Let's talk
