How To Add SmartMetrics Support

Add a new user to the following services:

Google Analytics (UA)

To add SmartMetrics support to Google Analytics account:

  1. Sign in to Google Analytics.
  2. Click Admin, and navigate to the desired account.
  3. In the Account column, click Access Management.
  4. In the Account permissions list, click +, then click Add users.
  5. Enter the email address (support@smartmetrics.com) for the user’s Google Account.
  6. Select Notify new users by email to send a message to the user.
  7. Select the permissions you want (preferably Administrator or Editor).
  8. Click Add

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

To add SmartMetrics support to Google Analytics 4 account:

  1. Sign in to Google Analytics.
  2. Click Admin, and navigate to the desired account.
  3. In the Account column, click Access Management.
  4. In the Account permissions list click +, then click Add users.
  5. Enter the email address (support@smartmetrics.com).
  6. Select Notify new users by email to send a message to the user.
  7. Select the permissions you want (preferably Administrator or Editor)
  8. Click Add.

Google Ads

To add SmartMetrics support to the Google Ads account, please share your Google Ads customer ID with SmartMetrics support. 

How to find your Google Ads customer ID:

  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
  2. Click the help icon  in the top right corner.
  3. Find “Customer ID” at the bottom of the menu.

  4. Please share your Google Ads customer ID with SmartMetrics support (support@smartmetrics.com), so that we could send you a request.
  5. Once you get an email about the request, go to your Google Ads account, at the top click Settings & Billing -> Access and Security -> Managers tab and click accept

Google Search Console

You must be a property owner (or an owner of a parent property) to add a user.

To add a new user:

  1. Choose a property in Search Console.

  2. Click the Settings icon Settings in the navigation pane.
  3. Click Users & permissions.
  4. Click Add user and select the permissions to grant the user, and add support@smartmetrics.com email.
  5. Choose the permission level to grant the user.

Google Tag Manager

To add SmartMetrics support to a Tag Manager account:

  1. Click Admin.
  2. In the Account column, select User Management.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select Add new users.
  5. Enter support@smartmetrics.com email
  6. Set Account Permissions as Administrator 
  7. Click Invite.

Facebook Ads Manager

To add SmartMetrics support to a Facebook Ads Manager:

  1. Go to the Ad Account tab in their Business Manager and click Assign Partner.
  2. Enter this ID: 1376233595775404
